Dramatized Visit

The dramatized visit is the most exciting experience that the visitors can live while visiting Castillo de Láchar. During the tour, the tourist informant will explain the castle’s amazing history and at the same time, it will appear different historical characters, who will narrate their personal experiences lived years ago in the castle. For example, the visitors will know the charming Florinda, a visigoth princess who is the main character of a famous Spanish legend from the 8th Century. They will also meet Queen Aixa, mother of the last Nasrid ruler of the Emirate of Granada in the 14th Century. Finallly, Mrs Fernanda de Salabert y Arteaga, Marquise of Valdeolmos and the second wife of the Duke of San Pedro de Galatino. She will tell the visitors about the period of greatest splendour in this palace from the 19th Century.

The dramatized visit tour is made in October, December, February and April. It’s usually scheduled for the last Sunday in the different months, during the morning. Anyway, it’s always possible to make this type of guided tour under a group reservation. This visit is always made in Spanish language.
